Bring the Holiday Home!
The inflatables have been stored away, bikinis and bracelets are packed until next year and most of us are already straight into back-to-school mode but that doesn't mean we can't keep the holiday vibes going at home for a little bit longer.
Here are my favourite September hacks to keep smiling as we transition into Autumn and back to work!
The nights are beginning to draw in so what better excuse to treat yourself to a new scented candle for cosying up in front of Netflix. I'm not quite ready for wintry scents yet so my Ibiza inspired Sea Salt and Wild Rosemary candle fits the bill perfectly.
The aromatic wild rosemary laced with a splash of marine saltiness reminds me of happy summer evenings in my Ibizan courtyard garden listening to the waves below and laughing with friends. I'll indulge myself with this scent until next month when things get more Autumnal.
I always like to switch up my table linens at this time of year but I'm not yet ready for rich, wintry, darker hues so I'm going to manifest an Indian Summer by de-boxing one of my blue bubble tablecloths which work brilliantly for breakfast, lunch and dinner and will keep me thinking of sunny blue skies for a little bit longer.
Our French table linens are made from the highest quality linen, and hang beautifully on the table. And the more you wash them, the softer and more lived in they become rather like a classic Ralph Lauren shirt (and of course so you can pop them in the washing machine so there's no faff of hand-washing).
I try to make an effort to host a catch up dinner for friends at this time of year especially if we haven't seen each other over the summer. And while it may not be alfresco dining weather, we can still hopefully enjoy some bursts of late summer sunshine while the dahlias are still out.
I'll keep the menu simple and use my sharing platters for very relaxed and informal dining. Just the way I like it.

My favourite skincare brand, Votary, is 10 years old. I've loved this Rose, Geranium and Apricot Cleansing OIl since the day they launched and it's still my favourite way to take off makeup and de-stress at the end of the day. Wishing you a very Happy Birthday Votary!

I'm so impressed with the White Company's new outerwear. Head of Design Sheila McKain has brought her clean lines and sculptural flair to the brand with some outstanding pieces from full length shearlings to sheepskin bombers and this cool double faced wool poncho.
Victoria Beckham Beauty has collaborated once more with skincare guru Augustinus Bader to bring us these beautiful Foundation Drops. They are not cheap but I'm impressed with the beautiful, natural yet flawless finish.
