This Autumn, Deborah Brett embarks on a new chapter with the launch of a collection of bold sculptural, abstract pieces. The collection explores the beauty of experimental glazes with the joy of unexpected organic forms. Launching with a capsule collection of 30 pieces, alongside bespoke commissions, each piece is a study in form, guided by glaze revealing Deborah’s deepening fascination with materials and process.
“I’ve become a bit of a glaze geek,” says Deborah, “I hated chemistry at school, but now I’m obsessed with experimenting with my own glazes in the studio, layering volcanic, metallic or gloop glazes to see how they run, drip and react with the clay.”
