DB Digest May ✨

We’re popping up throughout May

This month we are popping up all over London. Come join us! May is the month to see all our newness in person. We will be at Mondo Corsini, Omorovicza for London Craft week and House & Garden’s Spring Fair.

Our first pop up at Mondo Corsini in Notting Hill  runs from 7-12th May, where I will be hosting two different events and I’d love to see you there. Click on either or both! To rsvp.

STYLING EVENT - Tuesday 7th May 10am. The first focuses on my love for fashion and my days as a fashion editor. Come and join me for a cup of coffee and discover the new Summer collection of soft linen dresses and crisp jumpsuits. I will be on hand to give personal styling tips and advice alongside Susan Corsini, founder of Mondo Corsini.

HOW TO MIX AND MATCH YOUR CERAMICS - Thursday 9th May 10am. I love collecting vintage ceramics and mixing them with my contemporary bubble ware, join me for my table styling tips on how to mix your china and learn how to create the perfect blend of old and new for spring.

Our latest colour - Vellum launches on line in early June. Neither matte nor shiny, this creamy satin glaze is smooth to the touch, giving my flow collection an elegant and contemporary feel. Come see and feel our beautiful new glaze before it launches, I will have a few pieces exclusively in store for sale as well as bespoke gilded cake stands and bowls.

We will also have our latest linen at both Mondo Corsini and House & Garden,  in both the blue and teal tie-dye print available to see, buy and above all touch. It’s a gorgeous heavy weight linen and the colours are just beautiful. They go equally well with my bubble dinnerware as well as simple white china.

London Craft Week with Omorovicza

The following week sees my sculptural work on display at Omorovicza’s elegant flagship skin institute in Mayfair. Read more about my collaboration with them here and what inspired my decorative sculptures.

To celebrate the launch of this creative partnership during London Craft Week, Omorovicza co-founder Margaret de Heinrich is hosting an in conversation with myself, moderated by Busola Evans, an interiors specialist and renowned journalist, with over 20 years of experience. The talk will delve into our respective careers, and reveal how innovation, craftsmanship, and curiosity impacts their creative disciplines and inspires us.

The £20 ticket price includes a drinks reception and a complimentary Omorovicza gift. Purchase your ticket here.

Inspired by the process of nature in beauty, my organic forms have been created by hand in porcelain, speckled stoneware and black clay. I’ve taken cues from the plaster and tile finishes from the elegant interiors at the Omorovicza institute and created a whole new range of glazes. From bubbling volcanic to crackled and crazed reptilian glazes, each piece is layered with multiple coloured and textured glazes to decorate each unique form. I have loved the process of formulating new glazes, experimenting with glazes pooling in crevices and flowing over undulating edges, enjoying how differently they react to each form and clay type.

Crafted by hand at my London studio, the collection consists of small seed pods to lattice clam-like forms and my signature goblet vases with rippled spines. All pieces will be available to purchase exclusively at Omorovicza’s flagship store during London Craft Week.

House & Garden Spring Fair

On a final note, I’m feeling rather excited and honoured to be one of fifteen brands chosen to showcase and sell at the House and Garden Spring Fair. If you’re heading down to Chelsea Flower Show please do come by and say hello. We are just next door.
