DB DIGEST JUNE: IT'S ALL ABOUT TEAL

DB DIGEST JUNE: IT'S ALL ABOUT TEAL

A sneak peak at our new colour way

I couldn’t be more excited about the launch of our second colour way - teal. As a new business these things take time to develop and perfect. And this beautiful deep green was the colour you were the most adamant I do next.

Of course it makes sense to me, my blue bubbles were inspired by my Ibithencan home and well, green just happens to echo all round my London abode. But it’s also softer somehow. The teal bubbles are a little creamier and work perfectly with so many colour schemes. From rustic browns to soft pinks, bright yellow and of course every shade of green.

The Teal collection comprises of all your favourite pieces from dinner plates to napkin rings, bud vases to platters. The only piece we are currently reworking is our cake stand. I’ve designed a new shape, still with our signature fluted edges that I hope to launch soon. But if you are desperate to add a stand to your teal collection do get in touch and I can make a bespoke commission

I love what my bubble glazed platters, plates and napkin rings do for my summer table. They bring a real sense of fun with their unique pattern and I've loved coordinating them with Bertioli for Thyme England’s leaf and stripe linen. Layering these different prints but keeping the same colour tones is a really fun way to play with a tablescape and it’s a technique I use throughout my home.

For flowers, our teal pitcher is the most popular item I make. Such a simple shape, with just the right proportions to showcase a bunch of flowers. There’s really very little arranging needed

Launching on Tuesday 13th June, the Teal collection is a more limited run than our signature blue. With this in mind  I have created a special sign up to our launch. This will add you to our exclusive shopping window on launch day. You will receive a private code allowing early access to the launch before anyone else.

And finally I’ve been invited to showcase my beautiful ceramics by one of my favourite fashion brands, Mondo Corsini,in their Notting Hill Pop Up on Wednesday 14th June.

Please do come and say hi. Or join me at 10am for a special bud vase floral masterclass.

I will be there all day from 9.30-4pm, 79 Ledbury Road, London W11 2AG.

I’m a big fan of moisturising with Hyaluronic gels however the addition of Votary London’s self-tan into their serum is a game changer. The perfect prep for summer skin.
Look no further for the perfect summer read. Alex Preston’s Winchelsea filled with smugglers, pirates and intrigue will have you glued to your sun bed.

I’m going to be living all summer long in Rae Feather’s towelling dress. Complete with shoulder pads for a stronger silhouette. Belt it or wear loose. I’ve gone for a M/L for extra roomy comfort.

Anya Hindmarch does the chicest and quirkiest clutches. This Coppertone raffia pochette brings me right back to my childhood. Factor 4 anyone?

I’m always about stacking my beaded bracelets come summer and evil eyes always draw me in. Turkish brand Tohum creates such beautifully crafted and individual designs
