Launching my New Flow Trays

I'm so excited to be back in my studio, and have been longing to tell you about our latest developments.

Firstly, I'm delighted to introduce my new DB Studio pieces launching today at DB Ceramic. DB Studio will showcase my bespoke art works and limited edition pieces. Naturally, everything is handmade by me in my West London studio.

And my first collection for DB Studio is quite special...

Launching today in time for Mother's Day, these limited edition Flow Trays are decorative yet functional pieces which you'll discover have many uses around the home.

Handmade from porcelain, they all feature a fluted rim which is a signature on all of my Flow ceramic collection. And as well as being finished in my Bubble Glaze in tealand  cobalt blue, there are 3 brand new designs.

There's a  teal or blue stripe mixed with gold (as seen on the staircase above) and also I've made a delicate ribbon stripe design in your favourite blue and teal colourways. The final design is in my milky white Vellum porcelain finished with a gold rim.

And I've numbered each piece, which makes them even more collectable.

They are available from today exclusively for Newsletter subscribers. Make sure you click on the above links to discover the pieces you love. Do note they are a limited edition run so once they're gone they're gone!

I really love the versatility of these trays. Looking equally stylish in a bedroom carrying a water jug and glass or in a bathroom as an elegant way to display your bath oil, hand soap and hand cream.

I think the ribbon stripe tray works particularly well in a bathroom.

They also make great holders for condiments in the kitchen, but one of my favourite uses is a chic way to store my jewellery and makeup on my dressing table. The Vellum and Gold lends itself beautifully to this.

For a matchy matchy maximalist present, you could combine one (or drop a hint for whoever is buying mother's day gifts) with a scented candle or budvase. They will brighten up any corner of the living room, bookshelf  or hallway and last forever. As the candle can be repurposed as a bud vase or penpot on your desk.

Or you may just want to deploy them for the ultimate indulgence to serve yourself a cup of tea at 4pm.  A luxe and well deserved Mother's Day treat indeed!

I hope you enjoy them as much as I've loved creating them.

I recently booked in for a liver scan at the newly opened Liver Clinic at John Bell and Croyden. It's a painless 15 minute scan (and there's no tube to enter if you're claustrophobic) and it checks for all signs of liver damage and disease.

It gave me an in-depth report about my liver health and unlike other scans, it can provide you with a tailor made treatment post scan to restore your liver to tip top condition.

I'm taking a 1 month course elixir from plant-based de-liver-ance which detoxes and restores liver health. I've decided to drink this elixir regularly to keep the liver functioning well.

I've always loved rattan but it's having a real renaissance at the moment. This pretty scalloped edge light pendant from Anthropologie is on my list for one of the guest rooms in Ibiza.

Wiggy Kit's new Spring Summer collection is out and I love these ecru Gaucho jeans. I had them last year in dark indigo and wore and wore them.

I love the oversize pockets and the extra wide leg which are slightly out of the usual jeans comfort zone but still look and feel like a classic piece.

I love the Moreton cast iron cookware collection from Dayelsford which are surprisingly half the price to more well known cast iron pots and pans. They come in 2 lovely shades - Soft White and this Cotswolds Green and are a much healthier way to cook than non stick pans.

I just took my daughters to see Tom Stoppard's play Ardadia at the Old Vic and it really is a fitting tribute to Tom Stoppard's brilliance. It's on until 21 March and I highly recommend it.
