DB DIGEST - OCTOBER

Take a sneak peak at our new Burgundy colour way

I don't think I could be more excited to show what we've been working on. Our new colour way has taken over seven months to perfect, but its been worth the wait, and the hard work!

It will be launching in a few weeks time,  but I thought I'd give my most loyal of customers a preview of what's to come - Burgundy Bubbles. Doesn't it look resplendent? So many of you love my bespoke pink but I wanted to create something that had a nod to the masculine too.

Tonally it has a hint of raspberry but also a touch of brown, its rich and vibrant and looks so incredibly elegant.

The collection comes in the same shapes as the teal and blue. My signature scallop edged platters and bowls are front and centre. As are my plates, napkin rings, our best selling pitcher and vases too, and there's a cake stand on its way...
Things have moved on and we've added a beautiful square matchbox edged in bubbles and white tipped matches. This piece really caught everyone's eye at our Notting Hill pop up last week. It really makes the perfect gift - even to yourself.

Simple burgundy linen from The Cloth Shop, allows these pieces to really shine. It looks so festive already. I couldn't help but decorate the table with berries and autumnal blooms. But I'll be showing how this collection can be styled not just for a Christmas feast but for breakfast and casual dinners, as well as how it can mixed up with my existing colours. What's important is that my ceramics join your home and are used everyday with love and joy

I'm especially proud of the skilled artisans that hand make these pieces. As any fellow ceramicist will know, making things in reds, pinks and burgundy is incredibly difficult. This is a colour that doesn't behave. It's unpredictability has certainly turned a few of our hairs grey. But I think you'll agree it's been worth it.

I can't wait to show you more

Votary London has just launched their new Night Star Serum which has become my night time hero product. They've kindly given me  a discount code to share. Use the code: DB20 to receive 20% off site wide. (Not valid with any other code or offer).

The discount is valid from: Sunday 8th October - Sunday 15th October (midnight, BST)

Love a new phone case for the winter season and I've got my eye on the personalised silicone case from Not Another Bill. You can choose the font, letters and colours and if popping your name on the back isn't your thing there's a whole array of stickers and star signs to adorn your phone with

After listening to the Goop podcast with Dr Tasneem Bhatia I promptly downloaded her book The Hormone Shift. Bhatia gives a whole new perspective on hormones and not just for peri and menopausal women but for teens too. A medical doctor with an East-meets-West approach to women’s health, Bhatia combines the wisdom of Eastern modalities like Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine with modern medical treatments for whole body wellness. I'm half way through and copiously taking notes.

After our family trip to Japan, my crew have become obsessed with everything Japanese from food to their art and culture. Can't wait to take them to the V&A's latest exhibition opening on October 14th - Japan - Myths to Manga

When two of my favourite brands unite, they create beauty. None more so than Cosmetics a La Carte and Wardrobe Icons who have joined forces to create the Bare Glow Luminizer in Dusty Rose. Super easy to apply, just a swipe on the cheek and blend with your fingers for the perfect blush.
